It is true that you cannot hope to achieve if you don’t work for it. But what about all those rich kids born in hi-society families? They never worked for the money. So, there isn’t such a thing as equivalent exchange. But hoping against hope is all we can do!

you are right in a way.. but i believe the rich kids at some point of time will have to take pains to retain the wealth..
as of now they are reaping the benefits of somebody else’s hardwork thats it..

OK how about Sharing is Caring!

Why not step across using someone else’s cross???

    You are right Pranab .

He could have used other person’s cross.Sometimes you have to think smarter !

      @ pranab , arvind

you have just demonstrated what actually happens in the world today..
stepping on someone else’s hard work and reaping all the benefits.

By taking someone’s cross , doesn’t mean to step on someone else hard work . If you had tried to thought with an open mind , then you would have come across another meaning which is ,”Helping Hand”

Its true that God gives us a direction , we have to move on that with our own efforts. But If he just couldn’t bear the weight of that cross , then it doesn’t mean that he can’t bear the load of life. Some people are weak and some are strong. One should always spread helping hands to those weaker sections so that they could also adjust to the atrocities of life.

Whatever happened in the pictures , it clearly supports the idea of “Survival of the Fittest” .If you are weak , you just can’t overcome your problems. My comment of acting smarter doesn’t mean that we should resources of other people. It means , that if you are in trouble then think otherwise also.Push your mind to find different solutions to a same problem. It is but obvious that God will never come to help him in this situation.God has given him brain to act wisely. He could have asked for help from other guys.Smarter does not mean to steal , it means to “act wisely instead of crying all the times”

          Mistake in my last reply.
*If you had tried to think with an open mind , then you would have come across another meaning which is ,”Helping Hand”

Don’t reply to these comments now. I don’t want we fight over the real meaning.Every person has different opinion and you should not create your own meaning for any comment. Its not good.

I was not trying to demonstrate any particular meaning with me comment.

I don’t believe it teaches any moral. The guy carrying the cross wants to lessen his load by cutting the cross a little, which almost all of us would do, unless the whole cross is a very important thing to be delivered!
Moreover the guy had no idea there’d be a bridge, the others were simply lucky who played dumb and walked with the heavy cross…
Its something like God didn’t like that guy cutting off the cross from bottom, so instead of telling the guy not to or scolding him, He decided to teach him a lesson. God does have good sense of humor! 😀

God does have a twisted sense of humor. And yes, I second Abhishek! 😛 That was genuine logic, nothing morality in it! =))

    @ abhishek , arjit

It is a “cross”.. God’s holy symbol.. Of course he was not supposed to cut it..
    Everything has a purpose..
And don’t you agree with the moral – no gain without pain.. this is just a way of showing it..
