Mumbai Darshan

June 13, 2010

Lately, I have been extremely busy with work and studies, resulting in neglecting my blog.

To make up for it, here are some pictures from an awesome road trip to South Mumbai.

The sky was overcast with grey, swirling clouds which tempted me and my friend, S to dump the books and go for a long drive across town.

The photographs aren’t so great, ‘coz I had conveniently left my camera at home, resorting to my crappy 0.000something pixel phone. Nevertheless, enjoy!

Kichu & Amm’s love immortalized on the stones on the coastline of Marine Drive. How romantic!

What kind of name is Kichu, anyways :P.

Somewhere near Jehangir Art Gallery, Kala Ghoda.

Me: So that’s a work of art, isn’t it?

S: No. That’s a crow struck by lightning.

Another victim of the thunder storm :D. It’s a horse, just in case you don’t recognise it. A logo of Kala Ghoda, but obviously.

The billboard above Pizzeria, Marine Drive. They have some witty jokes on rotation. Check them out whenever you are in the area.

The best one of all. Driving on the Bandra-Worli Sea Link at dusk. Absolutely beautiful :D!

Of all the days to leave your camera behind at home, no? Travelling all over the city esp. town – all alone – is fun no matter where you are (of course I am talking about India, having no idea about any place abroad)
